Recently during a state party banquet in Des Moines, Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin urged fellow Americans to “send Trump to a retirement home in Moscow where he belongs.”
He also added that “we should make America America again.”
He also stated that all of us “should be mean” to Trump since he is throwing away the “tremendous opportunity” of being President of the US.
“We can’t be mean enough to this guy,” Baldwin stated during an event at George Washington University, also adding that President Trump was wasting the “tremendous opportunity” to be the leader of this nation.
“I thought he would take a deep breath and say, ‘I’m the president now,’ and begin to focus on, not only the power and the prestige and all of those kinds of tactile but more common perks and benefits of being president,” Baldwin stated.
“The president of the United States, beyond anyone alive, maybe more than anyone alive in the world, has the view of humanity that you could never get somewhere else,” Baldwin added.
During this event, Baldwin talked about his latest book called “You Can’t Spell America Without Me”, in which he is mocking President Trump’s presidency. Baldwin didn’t exclude the possibility to run for President himself, and stated that he is pretty sure that he would be better than President Trump.
“Would I think I’d be a good president? Yeah, I think I’d be a good president,” he stated.
“To run for office is something that I want to do,” he stated, continuing that it “doesn’t seem to be practical with my lifestyle and my children.”
The Hollywood actor also had a very similar opinion back in March when he said that Donald Trump would win in 2020 unless he had a more serious and educated candidate running against him. He also stated back then that he is interested in the role.
“I would love to run for office because I think people need something different,” Baldwin stated back in April during an interview with Extra, saying, “I think that all the people that are on deck in 2020, none of them are going to win.”
