The Former U.S. President, Barrack Hussein Obama made yet another desperate attempt to make some impact on his publicity.
He shared an old picture for his Christmas message, that he previously used for their 2015 greeting.
The Obamas claim to be such good Christians but they couldn’t even bother to take a new picture in celebration of the new season. Well, what else can be expected from a man who says we are a Muslim Nation.
From Breitbart say : Obama: Islam ‘Woven into the Fabric of Our Country Since Founding’
According to the report from Breitbart, Obama tried as hard as he could to suck up to the Islamic people in a speech on at his summit on countering violent extremism, on Thursday. He threw around claims that terrorist weren’t Muslim and that Islam takes a crucial part in America’s founding. He stated “Here in America, Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding.”
This same man said, back in 2006 : “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation – at least, not just. We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, and a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.”
In April 2009, he yet again stroke a blow on Christianity saying “Although, as I mentioned, we have a very large Christian population, we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values. I think modern Turkey was founded with a similar set of principles.”
It should be, however, pointed out that the United States system of founding is nothing like that of modern Turkey, at least not in any significant way. This of course, doesn’t imply that there were none Muslims in America at the founding, in fact many African slaves who were brought to the country, were originally Muslim but were forced to convert their faith.
Nevertheless saying that Islam is a religion that has been “woven into the fabric of our country since our founding” is a little too far fetched. It was not until after the Civil World that the first wave of Muslim immigrants came to America. And the first U.S. mosque was built in 1915.
As a religion, Islam had no impact on the States’ founders or their philosophy. As a matter of fact most of them despised the religion or had no knowledge about it.
Barack Obama reinvented his own fictional history at an Iftar dinner in 2012 saying:
As I’ve noted before, Thomas Jefferson once held a sunset dinner here with an envoy from Tunisia — perhaps the first Iftar at the White House, more than 200 years ago. And some of you, as you arrived tonight, may have seen our special display, courtesy of our friends at the Library of Congress — the Koran that belonged to Thomas Jefferson. And that’s a reminder, along with the generations of patriotic Muslims in America, that Islam — like so many faiths — is part of our national story.
It wasn’t exactly like that per say, the “first Iftar” in the White House was a meeting between President Jefferson and am emissary of the Barbary pirates, Sidi Solima Mellimelli. Jefferson did this to try to salvage the USS Constitution captured ships from the bey of Tunis. He was already familiar to the Islam as a religion after Barbary pirates attempted to blackmail America into monetary tribute.
